Unesa reaccionó de esta forma al anuncio realizado por el ministro de Fomento y portavoz del Gobierno, José Blanco, de que el Ejecutivo pedirá a la CNE que investigue las subastas entre comercializadoras de electricidad para el suministro de la Tarifa de Último Recurso (TUR) de la luz, al haberse cerrado la última a un precio «muy por encima de lo razonable» y que apuntaba un incremento del recibo de la luz del 6%. Por esa razón, según Blanco, «el Gobierno decidió, y se mantiene en ello, mantener congelada la luz y para ello ha bajado los peajes de acceso».

Para la patronal eléctrica, las declaraciones de Blanco «introducen inseguridad regulatoria de cara a los mercados financieros, lo que genera una desconfianza que afectará negativamente» al país.

«Sentimos que el Gobierno exprese dudas sobre mecanismos que él mismo ha establecido, con los que, además, estamos de acuerdo y que incluso son impuestos prácticamente por la Unión Europea», afirmó Unesa, antes de asegurar que «la mayor transparencia del funcionamiento de la subasta solo puede beneficiar a las compañías eléctricas».

Junto a esto, señaló que las subastas se desarrollan conforme a los mecanismos de cualquier economía de libre mercado, que el resultado de la última puja es el mismo que los de cualquier mercado del entorno y que la subida de la energía responde al encarecimiento en entre un 4% y un 10% de los productos energéticos. «En términos absolutos el precio resultante de la subasta se encuentra entre los más bajos de Europa», añade.

Unesa aprovechó para decir que no le parece «razonable» que se recorten las tarifas de acceso para impedir que se apliquen los precios reales de la energía resultantes de la subasta, como establece la legislación española.

«La medida adoptada por el Gobierno de reducir las tarifas de acceso de forma artificial va en dirección contraria a la legislación vigente que establece la obligación de reducir el déficit tarifario paulatinamente hasta su desaparición en el año 2013», advirtió.
