Sebastián dice que si se supieran las peticiones de los fotovoltaicos «existiría un escándalo nacional»
En su comparecencia ante la Comisión de Industria, Turismo y Comercio del Senado, el titular de Industria hizo repaso de la política energética de los últimos años y destacó que la apuesta por las energías renovables, pese a algunos «errores lógicos» por ser un país «pionero», «ha resultado un éxito».
Sebastián también defendió los recortes de primas a la fotovoltaica y a la eólica mediante la limitación de horas con incentivo porque «no es razonable ni aceptable un sistema en el que cuanto más sol haga o más sople el viento, más suba la luz».
Por esta razón, se buscó consensuar con los sectores renovables reducciones en las retribuciones que reciben por su producción. En este sentido, afirmó que se lograron pactar nuevos marcos normativos con la eólica y la termosolar, pero no se pudo con la fotovoltaica porque es un sector «fragmentado» que, según añadió, distribuye los documentos de las negociaciones entre todos los partidos.
Sebastián lamentó que las asociaciones fotovoltaicas difundan detalles de sus negociaciones con Industria y advirtió de que «si se hicieran públicas las cosas que el sector fotovoltaico puso sobre la mesa de negociación, habría un escándalo nacional». Pese a ello, se mostró dispuesto a seguir dialogando.
El ministro de Industria también anunció que en los próximos meses el Gobierno iniciará la redacción del nuevo Plan del Carbón para dar continuidad al actual, que acaba en 2012, y propiciar un marco estable para esta industria.
Asimismo, citó el «mix» energético para 2035 y el Plan de Energías Renovables 2011-2020, que pretende tener aprobado antes de que acabe el año, como algunos de los asuntos que se abordarán en las negociaciones entre el Ejecutivo y los agentes sociales.
Sebastián también señaló su intención de llevar el anteproyecto de Ley de Eficiencia Energética y Energías Renovables a trámite parlamentario antes de que acabe el actual periodo de sesiones.
El PP pide explicaciones por las demandas de los fondos extranjeros ante el recorte fotovoltaico
Por su parte, el Partido Popular envió al registro de la Cámara una batería de preguntas al Gobierno, para que éste «dé explicaciones sobre los 400 millones de euros que 15 fondos de inversión extranjeros le podrían llegar a exigir al Gobierno de España por el recorte retroactivo de las primas a las empresas fotovoltaicas».
Según comunicó el PP, la portavoz adjunta del partido en el Senado, Rosa Vindel, consideró que el asunto es «muy preocupante, porque la cantidad de dinero de la que se habla es muy elevada y contribuiría a aumentar el enorme déficit público causado por las irresponsables políticas de Zapatero».
La senadora del PP estimó que el problema está en la falta de previsión del Gobierno, al que acusó de «jugar continuamente con el dinero de los españoles».
Denunció, en este sentido, el cambio de criterio del Ejecutivo respecto al tema de las fotovoltaicas, «un movimiento pendular, al estilo de la «yenka», con bandazos de todo tipo, al que, por desgracia este Gobierno nos tiene demasiado acostumbrados, pero que en esta ocasión puede traer consecuencias terribles».
La parlamentaria popular interrogó en sus iniciativas parlamentarias al Gobierno sobre cuestiones como la postura que se va a adoptar ante las 15 demandas presentadas, si el Ejecutivo va a agotar las negociaciones con estos fondos o va a ir a un arbitraje o si alguien en el Consejo de Ministros era consciente de que esto podría ocurrir.
La cuarta de las cuestiones, en opinión de Vindel, es la que más preocupa al PP, «ya que nos produce alarma cómo van a afectar estas reclamaciones millonarias que tanto dañan a la imagen de España en la futura inversión extranjera en nuestro país«.

1.- atacar al PP con las tarifas que él ha congelado,
2.- reventar un sector de futuro por el que habían apostado muchas empresas y el sector financiero,
3.- ha sido incapaz de aportar algo positivo al crecimiento del PIB, y
4.- todo se le ha ido en gabinetes y ascensos.
