Los partidos políticos apuestan por las energías renovables para reducir la dependencia energética española
De cara a las próximas elecciones generales del próximo 20 de noviembre, el PSOE se comprometió a crear un Fondo Estatal de Apoyo a las Energías Renovables, políticas en materia de I+D+i para las tecnologías más incipientes, así como la elaboración de un Plan Energético para la Biomasa y potenciar la movilidad sostenible.
Para financiar las renovables, los socialistas proponen un canon sobre las tecnologías que consideran maduras y ya amortizadas, como la hidroeléctrica o la nuclear.
En el ámbito de las energías renovables el PP se comprometió a reforzar la coordinación entre las administraciones para cumplir los objetivos renovables, garantizar su integración en el sistema eléctrico de forma eficaz y definir un marco normativo que facilite la reducción de los costes y la sostenibilidad del sistema.
Desde IU abogaron por impulsar las energías limpias mediante tarifas progresivas y potenciar la generación eléctrica distribuida (pequeños puntos de producción de particulares y empresas).
Asimismo, la formación que lidera Cayo Lara rechazó el cupo que limita las plantas fotovoltaicas y defiende la instalación de 10.000 MW más de tecnologías renovables en 2020, de forma que en ese año se pueda prescindir de las centrales nucleares y térmicas.
Por último, UPyD propuso revisar las subvenciones a las renovables, mejorar la red para facilitar su integración, establecer un sistema de formación de precios de la energía claro y transparente y eliminar las ayudas a la minería del carbón y el cierre de explotaciones no eficientes, algo ya estipulado por el Reglamento europeo.
En materia eléctrica, el PSOE afirmó que hay que reducir el déficit de tarifa eliminando costes no justificados, promover soluciones eficientes para los consumidores vulnerables, crear un tejido industrial basado en la economía verde, revisar la regulación del sector y establecer señales al consumidor para avanzar en la discriminación horaria (desplazamiento de ciertos usos a horas en la que la electricidad es más barata).
Los populares coincidieron en la necesidad de eliminar el déficit de tarifa para evitar incrementos de precios de la luz y apostaron por alcanzar la eficiencia de costes.
