La CNE lanzará un estudio para analizar y comparar el precio de carburantes en España y Francia

El organismo presidido por María Teresa Costa anunció el proceso abierto de licitación para contratar este estudio con una consultora, a la que retribuirá con 206.500 euros, según consta en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE).

La CNE quiere lanzar el estudio apenas dos meses después de que la Comisión Nacional de la Competencia (CNC) publicase un informe en el que denunció «serios problemas de competencia» para la entrada de nuevos operadores en el mercado de los carburantes y añadió que la expansión de gasolineras estaban reduciendo el grado de competencia en el mercado español.

Asimismo, la CNC recogió unos datos de la Comisión Europea señalando que los españoles podrían pagar 1.684,4 millones de euros más por los carburantes antes de impuestos que los franceses o alemanes por esa falta de competencia.

El informe generó malestar entre Repsol, Cepsa y CLH, que mostraron su rechazo a las conclusiones del informe y utilizaron distintas formas de expresarlo.

Repsol avanzó que emprendería acciones legales al entender que el informe contiene «graves imputaciones gratuitas que confunden intencionadamente a la opinión pública y que ocasionan un grave daño a la reputación de la empresa». Mientras tanto, CLH hizo una queja formal ante Competencia.

Por su parte, el consejero delegado de Cepsa, Dominique de Riberolles, recordó que no todos los precios de los carburantes en la Unión Europea son comparables y, por tanto, homogéneos, ya que en algunos países los precios se fijan en días distintos, no todos recogen los descuentos y no se diferencia, por ejemplo, el volumen de carburantes que se venden en las estaciones de servicio o en los hipermercados.

En Francia las ventas de gasolina en hipermercados representan el 58% de las totales.
