Industria prevé compensar a las empresas eléctricas en las islas por pagar el nuevo peaje de generación
A finales de diciembre, como parte de las medidas contra el déficit de tarifa para reducir los costes del sistema en 4.600 millones de euros, el Gobierno anunció un nuevo peaje a la generación de 0,5 euros por megavatio hora (MWh) con el objetivo de ingresar una media de 150 millones de euros en tres años.
Esta medida forma parte de los «sacrificios» que Industria impuso a consumidores, eléctricas y a la propia Administración para equilibrar las cuentas de la tarifa eléctrica. En el caso del peaje, son las eléctricas las que deben asumir el coste, al margen de posibles traslados posteriores al consumidor.
En el borrador de real decreto para la puesta en marcha de este peaje, cuya entrada en funcionamiento estaba prevista para el pasado 1 de enero, Industria incluye una disposición adicional para compensar a las actividades extrapeninsulares en el mismo importe del peaje.
«Los ingresos reconocidos a las instalaciones del régimen ordinario de los sistemas eléctricos insulares y extrapeninsulares se incrementarán en el importe equivalente a la aplicación de los peajes de generación establecidos en el presente real decreto», señaló el borrador.
Junto a esto, la nueva norma exime del pago del peaje a los importadores de electricidad generada en la Unión Europea, ya que, entre los colectivos de aplicación, solo alude a «sujetos que realicen importaciones de energía eléctrica que tengan su origen en países terceros que no sean miembros de la Unión Europea».
