Fernando Marti Scharfhausen, nombrado Secretario de Estado de Energía
Tal y como se ha venido informando durante el día Fernando Marti Scharfhausen, ex vicepresidente de la CNE, ha sido nombrado Secretario de Estado de Energía hoy por el Consejo de Ministros a propuesta del Ministro de Industria, Energía y Turismo, José Manuel Soria. El nombramiento ha sido confirmado por la Vicepresidenta del Gobierno, Soraya Saénz de Santamaría en la rueda de prensa posterior al Consejo de Ministros celebrado hoy.
Soria ha optado por un nombramiento de ‘partido’ en la medida que el perfil de Alfonso Beltrán, actual director general del IDAE, suscitaba fuertes controversias en las filas populares. Beltrán, autor del último y polémico Plan de Energías Renovables, contaba con apoyos dentro de este sector y era considerado una baza de corte político, para evidenciar el apoyo popular a las tecnologías limpias.
De hecho, los detractores de Marti Scharfhausen se centraban en su afinidad ‘pronuclear’ como titulaba el diario El Mundo hace unos días. En todo caso, de cara a la nueva andadura será muy relevante el equipo del que se rodee el nuevo Secretario de Estado y, en especial, quien ostente la Dirección General de Energía.
