En una nota remitida a la prensa, Unesa aseguró que las centrales nucleares e hidráulicas no están amortizadas y afirmó que, «incluso en un sistema retributivo basado en costes, que no es el caso, habría que ser mucho más riguroso de lo que es el mencionado informe, que sesga los ingresos al alza y los costes a la baja, ignorando una parte muy importante de los mismos».
En un encuentro con los medios de comunicación celebrado ayer, el consejero delegado de Abengoa sustuvo que la hidráulica y la nuclear disfrutan de un exceso de retribución que, solo en 2010, rondó los 2.400 millones de euros. Estas dos tecnologías están amortizadas e inflan el déficit de tarifa, según la tesis defendida por el directivo.
Unesa replicó que «las centrales nucleares e hidráulicas no están amortizadas como se supone» y recordó que la presidenta de la CNE en el momento en el que se realizó el informe no aprobado por el consejo sobre los «supuestos» ‘windfall profits’, María Teresa Costa, calificó su contenido de «aproximación meramente orientativa en órdenes de magnitud de la diferencia existente entre los costes de generación y los precios del mercado».
Según la patronal eléctrica, el informe cifra los beneficios extraordinarios de ambas tecnologías entre 700 y 1.500 millones de euros en un solo trimestre de 2008, ejercicio en el que el beneficio total de la actividad de generación eléctrica en España fue de 2.400 millones de euros.
«Todos las empresas, incluida Abengoa, disponen de activos con distintas rentabilidades» y «lo que cuenta es el conjunto», afirmó, antes de señalar que «las instalaciones con mayor rentabilidad aportan en mayor medida al beneficio de la compañía y por tanto al Estado a través del impuesto de sociedades».
Además, aseguró que las empresas integradas en Unesa, que son Endesa, Iberdrola, Gas Natural Fenosa, HC y E.ON, «apuestan por un mercado cuyos beneficios sean el resultado de la libre competencia y no de las subvenciones sin necesidad de que las compañías asuman ningún riesgo».

«Actualmente en el sector eléctrico las compañías privadas que dan beneficios, pagan impuestos y generan empleo además están financiando el déficit de tarifa para que otras empresas perciban íntegramente sus costes y primas«, afirmó.
Junto a esto, Unesa consideró que el déficit de tarifa se produjo en los últimos años porque las tarifas de acceso no se incrementaron tanto como los pagos realizados a su cargo, «en especial las primas a las renovables».
