Los fabricantes de automóviles tendrán que incluir las emisiones de CO2 en las tarjetas de la ITV
Así se desprende de una Orden del Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio, publicada en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE) y que entrará en vigor el 25 de julio de 2012, fecha en la ya estaba previsto modificar la tarjeta de la ITV por otras razones.
Este medida tiene por objeto facilitar a la Comisión Europea información fidedigna sobre los niveles de emisiones de CO2 comercializados en cada Estado miembro, para el seguimiento de la estrategia de reducción de estas emisiones.
Bruselas pretendía que las emisiones medias de CO2 de los vehículos nuevos comercializados en Europa se situaran en 120 gramos por kilómetro en 2012, si bien los fabricantes solicitaron un aplazamiento hasta 2015.
«Resulta imprescindible regular el modo de obtención de la información necesaria para crear una base de datos que permita la constancia, cruce con la información de los vehículos matriculados, depuración y homologación de los datos imprescindibles para la confección de la información estadística a transmitir a la Comisión Europa«, explicó el texto de Industria.
