El PP rechaza apoyar el relevo de un consejero del CSN y el PSOE le acusa de bloquear las instituciones

El Ministerio de Industria había propuesto a la ex diputada para cubrir la vacante de Francisco Fernández Moreno, que abandona la institución en julio por jubilación pese a que todo el consejo debía ser renovado en 2012.

Rosario Velasco García, nacida en León en 1957, fue diputada del PSOE en la anterior legislatura, portavoz adjunta en la Comisión de Industria, Turismo y Comercio y ponente del Proyecto de Ley del Sector Eléctrico y de la Ley del Sector Hidrocarburos.

Asimismo, fue ponente de la Proposición de Ley de Reforma de la Ley del Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear, contribuyendo a la creación del Comité Asesor y la mejora de la transparencia del organismo regulador.

Tanto el origen socialista de la candidata como el escaso tiempo que resta para renovar toda la institución suscitaron los recelos del PP, que prefirió no apoyar la candidatura avalada por el Ministerio del Industria. La candidata fue sometida a examen en la Comisión de Industria del Congreso y los diputados del Grupo Popular optaron por abstenerse.

El PSOE recordó que el nombramiento exigía el aval de tres quintos de la Comisión de Industria y acusó al PP de romper la tradición de nombrar estos cargos por unanimidad.

El portavoz socialista, Francesc Vallès, sostuvo que «el PP ha utilizado una vez más una mayoría de consenso como una mayoría de bloqueo, lo que impide el normal funcionamiento de las instituciones democráticas de nuestro país», en este caso, del Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear.
